Hallerbos forest in Winter - December

Hallerbos National Forest is a gem I think even during the winters. In Dutch, bos stands for trees. Hallerbos means Trees in a place called Halle, perhaps. It is known for the blue colored flowers that one can see in the Spring. In December, on a cold damp day, this national forest did not disappoint me. The scale of Rockies and Mighty 5 of Utah is not challenged but it is still a feast to my eyes to see nature like this. It is a large forest which has many parkings(only two were open during my visit) with many trails. The long trees with its leaves withered and ready to come back in 3 months, the ground is sprinkled densely with the fallen leaves, only to say they give chance to other new leaves to decorate the long trees, the forest was quite a sight. The about to be dead mushrooms in some places. Here are some pictures.

My First Post

 Can anyone imagine how long it can take someone to start writing a blog after such thought comes up? It took me 12 years to do it. I am a master procrastinator. Today, I turned the tables and started writing this blog. So, what really prodded me to do this? Something that I was not driven to do other than fantasizing in the brain? It is this post and the person who quoted this and named it as his favorite quote in good reads. It touched me very well too. “You have the right to work, but for the work's sake only. You have no right to the fruits of work. Desire for the fruits of work must never be your motive in working. Never give way to laziness, either. Perform every action with you heart fixed on the Supreme Lord. Renounce attachment to the fruits. Be even-tempered in success and failure: for it is this evenness of temper which is meant by yoga. Work done with anxiety about results is far inferior to work done without such anxiety, in the calm of self-surrender. Seek refuge in ...
